Situated on a 48-acre site, Woodland Elementary is designed to provide a sustainable, efficient, and flexible learning environment. Its beautiful setting provides unique outdoor experiences like a school garden, walking/snowshoeing trails, an outdoor classroom, and large open playground areas. Woodland staff members are committed to providing a personalized and responsive approach to meeting student needs. Teaching staff members are highly trained in differentiating reading and writing instruction. The Everyday Math curriculum along with the implementation of effective math strategies prepares students to understand the math concepts and apply those skills in everyday life. Our staff, along with the support of instructional coaches, use data on a consistent basis to drive decisions to continually improve.
