Alexandria Public Schools 5th Grade Math Masters Competition Results
Tuesday, April 26, 2022 (Alexandria, MN) – Eight Alexandria Public Schools 5th Grade Math Masters teams competed in the regional Math Masters competition on Friday, April 22nd at Woodland Elementary. A total of 22 teams from west central Minnesota participated in the event. The competition included three team rounds, three individual rounds, and a fact drill round.
In the team competition:
- Lincoln Black placed 3rd and received a team plaque and individual medallions.
- Lincoln Red placed 4th and received medallions.
- Voyager placed 6th and received ribbons.
- Woodland Black placed 7th
- Garfield placed 8th
- Miltona placed 9th
Other teams that competed were:

In the Individual problem solving competition with 125 students competing, these students placed in the top 20:
- Michael Zhang (Lincoln) – 2nd place (medallion)
- Brinkley Schmid (Garfield) - 8th place (ribbon)
- Kaeson Schneider (Voyager) - 9th place (ribbon)
- Carson Hamann (Lincoln) - 13th place (ribbon)
- Kellen O'Brien (Miltona) - 16th place (ribbon)
- Jada McAdoo (Voyager) - 17th place (ribbon)
- Reagan Gustafson (Woodland) - 18th place (ribbon)
- Jackson Senesac (Carlos) - 19th place (ribbon)
- Donald Lehmann (Woodland) - 20th place (ribbon)
In the Fact Drill competition with 125 students competing, these students placed in the top 20:

- Connor Bruss (Woodland) - 4th place (medallion)
- Michael Zhang (Lincoln) - 5th place (medallion)
- Cael Stumvoll (Lincoln) - 6th place (medallion)
