Jazz Band is open to all 7th and 8th grade DMS band students. Rehearsals will be held twice a week on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 7:20 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. starting on Monday, November 6th through Friday, April 15th.

 There is no audition required to participate. Jazz Band performs music from a variety of genres and styles including rock, funk, swing, Latin and blues. Jazz band will perform at several concerts during the school year as well as the possibility of a trip to a jazz festival. Students must be registered online in order to participate in Jazz Band.
