Hello Woodland Families,

I am thrilled to be the new Woodland Elementary School Principal!  This school year our Woodland staff will continue fostering a rich partnership with parents.  We understand that parents know their children and we encourage communication regarding your child's educational experience.

Woodland Elementary represents approximately 420 students, within the Alexandria Area School District.  Woodland staff pride themselves in creating a family-like atmosphere, balanced with academic rigor, social emotional learning and unique outdoor learning experiences.

Our school adheres to a Code of Conduct to establish a safe, comfortable and equitable learning environment.  Students, staff, parents and community members dedicate themselves to the following standards:
